Kerry Parry
Kerry Parry is the Managing Director of Gap Tax and Accounting Services and Advocate Strata Management Services and has built both businesses from meagre beginnings.
After having been in business for 9 years and Kerry is prepared to share everything she knows and also prepared to learn more at the same time. She has been a property investor since she was 23 years old and therefore speaks from experience in creating wealth.
Kerry served in the Australian Defence Force for 16 years attaining the rank of Major so she has lived all over Australia in completing this service to the country. She has been an Australian Scout for the past 17 years and loves being involved in the community.
Kerry is married to Doug and is a mother to Gavin and Alicia both in their 20’s, in the last 12 months both have purchased their first investment property. Kerry has walked the Kokoda Track twice first in 2007, then again in 2009 and would go back tomorrow. Her interests are kayaking, bushwalking and motorcycling. Kerry wants to help people prosper and believes education is the key. She has a Bachelor of Commerce, is a Certified Practicing Accountant, Registered Tax Agent, holds Graduate Diplomas in Tax Law and Management, a Diploma in Financial Planning and a Certificate IV in Body Corporate Management.
Rebecca McConaghy
Rebecca McConachy studied part-time to gain her accounting degree with the goal of working with small businesses and enjoys getting to know clients and creating the best strategies to maximise wealth and growth.
She has completed a Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Modern Asian Studies. She has lived and worked in Japan as an interpreter and loves to combine her love of the Japanese language and accounting knowledge in assisting Japanese clients. Rebecca has been involved in promoting various Australian destinations by producing documentaries for Japanese film production companies, one of the most memorable experiences being a live broadcast to Japan from Lady Elliot Island capturing the magnificent yearly coral spawning.
Rebecca has spent 10 years working for Qantas which aligned with her love of travel. Rebecca’s pride and joy is 3 year old Jackson, who thinks he wants to be an accountant when he grows up. Rebecca is currently working towards her CPA certification and is interested in learning about wealth creation through share trading.
Maria Bailey
Maria Bailey is an accountant who has been in public practise for ten years and has an interest in assisting small business. She has also been a representative netball player, coach and umpire therefore knows the benefits of hard work and dedication. Maria is a mother of three children and is teaching them the importance of budgeting and owning property while still living at home.
Maria is also the mum of representative tenpin bowler and she also bowls herself. Maria also enjoys mediation, photography and helping her local community. Maria’s passion for helping people is being achieved through business coaching. Maria believes in goal setting and the importance of having a vision to achieve your goals.
Maria has a degree in business management majoring in accounting and enterprise management and is currently studying towards her CPA certification and becoming a tax agent.
Barbara Winch
Barbara Winch is a highly experienced administrator in accounts payable and all aspects of dealing with the ATO. She also is extremely good at debtor control. She has had five years previous experience within an accounting firm after being absent from the workforce for fifteen years to be a stay at home mum to two children who are now young adults.
For twenty-two years Barbara has been happily married to Des and loves to camp and really enjoys vacationing at Woodgate, Ayres Rock, Katherine, Darwin and other very remote places in Western Queensland. She loves being around the campfire and gets away most weekends.
